Traffic was awful. Guide was a bit impatient. I understand that 2 whole other people were waiting, however we were a group of 6 and left Braşov at 1015 to meet up by 1200. We were not informed of the parking fee and needing to have exact money or the attendants unwillingness to accept euro change only euro bills if we didn’t have Romanian money. Multiple jokes made at our expense and phone calls asking where we were despite knowing we had young kids.

What people are saying about Wallachia
What a wonderful tour! We met our awesome guide Gabriel at another hotel which was roughly a 10 minute walk from ours and then we were off! We first stopped at Peles Castle and it did not disappoint. Peles Castle is a beautiful Neo-Renaissance castle with a unique history. Next stop was for lunch a nice quaint restaurant which served traditional Romanian cuisine and spirits. After lunch we headed to Bran to see "Dracula's Castle." Bran Castle is small fortress with a lot of history. Our guide explained the truth regarding the myth/legend of Dracula and Vlad the Impaler. Finally we headed to the medieval city of Bravos. We spent roughly an hour learning about Bravos and checked out some attractions to include the market square, the Black Church, and an original gate to the walled city. Our guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable of the history of Romania and Transylvania region. Gabriel gave us neat trivia tidbits throughout the tour. Overall an excellent tour which I highly recommend!
Alex was definitely the best guide I have ever experienced. He and driver Michael were really professional duo. Alex is filled with rich historical knowledge. There was not a single dull moment. We were given enough time to roam around on our own. I can honestly say we had got more than we paid for. Thank you Alex and Michael for a great adventure.
Nice places to see, it seems a long day but totally worth the while. The lunch could be made shorter if there were options to preorder ahead, to save some time.
The Guide (Gabriel) was extremely knowledgeable and helped us cut the long lines with advance ticket. Lunch restaurant selection was fantastic
Guide fantastic, pick up right on time, communication amazing. During travel guide was telling stories about next place to see. Great trip!
