  • Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission Ticket

    3. Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission Ticket

Originally built in 1891, the ‘Gamla Laugin’  is Iceland’s first swimming pool. Spend time in this relaxing setting feeling your worries slip away. A natural hot spring feeds the lagoon with 38-39°C water  that bubbles up from deep within the earth at a rate of 10 litres per second, constantly replenishing itself so that there is a steady supply of fresh clean water in the pool at any given time, letting you rest as long as you need.  Enjoy brand new facilities at the Secret Lagoon including changing rooms, showers, resting rooms, bar and restaurant area.  Situated in a remote location in Fluðir, the Secret Lagoon is just an hour away from Geysir, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Reykjavik and 2 hours from Vik making it a great desination on your trip to Iceland.

The Secret Lagoon is delightful resting 'activity' to add to your adventure travels in Iceland. We had been horse-back riding and hiking a whole lot and felt a bit tired and sore. Floating in the lagoon was just the perfect cure for that! It seemed like a much less formal and sophisticated version of the Blue lagoon, which we also visited, and I liked it all the more for that. Definitely worth visiting!

They took you out to the best spot to get further away from light pollution and once we stopped, about 10 minutes after finding our spot, the northern light appeared and continued to get better throughout our sightings for us! Sky Lagoon was AMAZING!! It was so relaxing from the moment we entered with the soft lights, calming music and lovely facilities. It was well staffed to meet your questions and needs. The lagoon views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were beautiful. The 7 step Nordic bathing detox routine was yet another step toward complete relaxation! I can’t wait to return to Iceland and this will be one of my first stops.

Unfortunately we didn't get to see the northern lights, but we were offered a free ticket that we will use next time we go to Iceland. Crew were extremely helpful ans the board was also a nice one as well as drinks purchased on board

The Retreat Spa in the Blue Lagoon is definitely worth your money. Had a very good time there and would book it again at any time.

So nice. You are born again, and get the most delicious skin.

Amazing place - look out, time flows very fast in there :)
